Bliskavka Zip Up Boot Black Kudu, Size 11

This is pair is one of Mikhail’s experiments. One of the samples that was re-crafted entirely by hand with the process documented in this post (https://www.arnoshoes.com/blogs/news/shoe-tear-down-and-rebuild). This boot is the Bliskavka zip-up boot, reimagined in a more elegant style. The leather outsole and slim side profile can easily blend in with a formal outfit, while the rugged Kudu leather and the contrasted white sole stitching still keeps a casual air about them. This is a beautiful boot that is built to last, the hand-welted construction is the most durable form of shoemaking techniques, since the holdfast that the welt is attached to is cut directly into a beefy 6.5mm vegetable tanned insole. The sole profile is kept low and comfortable with a single leather sole, with a Vibram sole protector added that will make these boots ready for any weather.

Stead; Leather Sole with Vibram Topy; Gold Rubi zipper (btw, check out their site, they’re a Spanish company that was founded in the 1920’s in Spain, the tape is made from entirely recycled polyester).

Care: Occasional brushing and application of conditioner can help keep the leather moisturized and it's need is dependent on your lifestyle, your environment and the frequency of use. Please contact us with any specific questions. If you love your boots as much as we love ours, there may come a time when they need to be resoled. Luckily this is possible as our boots are Goodyear welted. Many other brands have soles that are glued and therefore unable to be resoled, in which case once the sole is damaged, the shoes are no longer usable.
