We met fulfilling a dream of living in Florence in 2019, learning the traditional methods of Italian shoemaking — a skill protected and handed down from master to student over generations. In the process, we individually discovered the immense and unexpected joy the laborious art of making shoes the old fashioned way brought us.

Flash forward to Tulsa, 2021. Over Sangiovese and BBQ ribs we hatched an idea — to follow that joy and build a brand that blends Florentine heritage with Americana style. In León, Mexico we found dedicated artisan partners who share our love for crafting boots with the same traditional methods we first grew to love in Florence.
